(New York, New York – June 28, 2007) WOR Radio 710 announced today that The WOR Morning Show with Joe Bartlett and Donna Hanover has received the New York State Broadcasters Association’s “2007 Outstanding On-Air Broadcast Team” award for excellence in broadcasting.
Excerpts from Joe and Donna’s show, including their usual entertaining on-air segments and interviews, won them this prestigious award, which recognizes outstanding achievement among radio stations and television stations in New York State.
WOR’s Vice President and General Manager Bob Bruno accepted the award from legendary journalist Barbara Walters (who was inducted that evening into the Association’s Hall of Fame) at the NYSBA’s 42nd Annual Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting Gala at their annual Executive Conference in Lake George, NY.
WOR Radio was also awarded “Outstanding Local Newscast” with WOR’s frequent news reports featuring the WOR Radio News Team. Updates from the WOR Newsroom occur at the top of every hour and twice an hour during The WOR Morning Show!
The WOR Morning Show airs weekdays from 5:00am to 9:00am EST on WOR Radio 710 HD.
