(New York, New York – September 12, 2006) The WOR Radio Network has announced that America’s Relationship Doc, Dr. Joy Browne, will be featured in CNN’s Welcome To The Future series to air on September 16th & 17th at 8pm ET with additional airings throughout the weekend. For this quarterly special, CNN has gathered five of America’s best known radio talk show hosts to sit down with CNN anchor Miles O’Brien for a lively, candid and provocative conversation on new advances in the world in various areas like homeland security, terrorism, the oil crisis and education. Dr. Joy will discuss these topics, their ethical and moral implications and how they impact the future of our society.
A clinical psychologist, Dr. Joy commented, "I put my own spin on these seemingly political issues by asking my listeners (a true cross-section of America) how they feel rather than what they think about these issues. For example, with respect to homeland security: ‘Do you feel safer or less safe than you did on September 12, 2001?’ and ‘What are YOU willing to give up to lessen our oil dependence?’ Their responses were unexpected, intriguing and thought-provoking."
The Dr. Joy Browne Show airs on WOR Radio 710 HD in New York weekdays from 12n-2pm ET and nationally on the WOR Radio Network weekdays from 12n-3pm ET. A simulcast of her radio show airs on cable TV’s Discovery Health Channel daily from 10am-11am. |
