WOR Announces 'Saturday Morning Live' To Ring Opening Bell

(New York, New York – July 20, 2006) WOR Radio 710 HD announced today that Saturday Morning Live hosts Joe Bartlett and George Meade will ring the opening bell at the American Stock Exchange on Tuesday, July 25th. They will also speak with the Exchange’s chairman and CEO, Neal Wolkoff, who was appointed to the post in April 2005. The interview will air on Saturday Morning Live that week. The American Stock Exchange, which is located across the street from the new WOR Radio studios, is the 2nd largest options exchange in the world and has been a pioneer in market innovation for more than a century. Saturday Morning Live (Saturdays, 6am-10am) began airing on WOR in January 2006 with a variety of entertaining lifestyle features and open phones. Joe and George’s relaxed, but solid, menu of information elements helps listeners plan their weekend activities while they sip their first cup of Saturday morning coffee. Saturday Morning Live has just become the #1 Talk Show in New York with Women 25-54 (ARB Metro Spring 2006, Sat. 6-10a).
