WOR Announces New Morning Show Team
|
(New York, New York – August 25, 2006) WOR Radio 710 HD has announced that Joe Bartlett, long time member of The WOR Morning Show, WOR News Director and co-host of Saturday Morning Live, has been named to co-host The WOR Morning Show with former New York City First Lady, Donna Hanover. Joe Bartlett replaces veteran broadcaster Ed Walsh, who regrettably was unable to come to terms on a new agreement with the radio station. Ed leaves WOR with the affection, deep respect and admiration of his listeners, clients and colleagues.
Although change is never easy, the pairing of Joe and Donna represents an important opportunity for ratings growth in WOR’s most important day-part. We have every hope that our loyal audience will readily embrace the new morning team of Joe and Donna. Together they will wake up New York with a family-friendly menu of easy banter, award-winning news, traffic, weather, entertaining lifestyle features and plenty of good-natured fun to get our listeners new day started on the right foot along with that first cup of coffee.
