(New York, New York – October 24, 2006) WOR Radio Vice President and General Manager Bob Bruno announced today that Vice President, General Sales Manager Jerry Crowley has been promoted to Vice President, Director of Sales. Since 1995, Crowley has headed WOR Radio’s local and national sales initiatives. Along with his existing duties, Crowley’s new responsibilities will include being the liaison to WOR Radio Network’s national advertising partner, Dial-Global Communications.
Greg Bilotta has been named National Sales Manager and Director of Event Marketing. In addition to directing major station events from WOR’s Classic Taste of New York to the WOR Bridal Fair, Bilotta will now oversee national advertising sales. He will work directly with the Eastman Radio division of Katz Radio Group, WOR’s local partner for national ad sales. Bruno commented, “These promotions, which are effective November 1st, are a part of our continuing effort to reflect the changes in today’s evolving radio business environment.”
About Jerry Crowley and Greg Bilotta Jerry Crowley started as General Sales Manager at WOR Radio in February 1995. His career in the New York tri-state area has seen him as sales manager at radio stations WCBS-AM and WNCN/WAXQ, entertainment advertising manager at the New York Daily News, president of his own advertising agency and vice president of sales and marketing at Lamaze Publishing, a multimedia company with a national TV cable network.
Greg Bilotta began his career at WOR Radio as an Account Executive in 2001. Since 2004, he has directed the events marketing aspects of the station. Prior to WOR Radio, he was a contracted publisher for the Rivals.com sports network. Greg is a 2000 graduate of the University of Dayton. |
