About Dr. Beatrice C. Engstrand

 Doctor Beatrice C. Engstrand, MD, FAAN, is a Board-Certified neurologist, Fellow of The American Academy of Neurology, Assistant Professor of Neurology, New York Medical College, and published author. In addition, she is President of The Neurodegenerative Disease Foundation.
She practices clinical neurology in Huntington, Long Island, New York and is a recognized expert in her field.
Neurology is the field of medicine that deals with headache, backache, neckache, TIA, stroke, balance disorders, gait disorders, syncope, brain tumors, multiple schlerosis, Lou Gherig's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, diseases of muscle, and trouble walking. The brain is the control center of our body with long nerve pathways spreading out to control vision, swallowing, upper and lower body coordination, strength and sensation.
This show will be aired weekly, Sunday nights, from 10:30PM to 11PM. Each week will feature a different topic, ie, Headache: types, symptoms, treatments, including the latest cutting-edge research. Pros and cons of different treatments and management, guest speakers at times, and answers to call in questions.
